Coventry is a hub of industry with a whole host of businesses excelling in manufacturing, technology and many more. And, the Coventry Business Excellence Awards which land in the region this September will be celebrating a business who have made significant strides in their industry with a special award.

The ‘Excellence in Industry Award’ will be presented to a company who have not only excelled in their own area, but also contributed to strengthening the overall regional economy.

This award is one of 14 up for grabs on the night which brings together companies from across the region for a night of celebration.

And, giving their backing to the award as category sponsors is leading wealth management firm Janine Edwards Wealth Management.

As category sponsors it is there responsibility to decide on the three finalists and eventual winners and Janine Edwards, who heads up the firm explained what they’ll be looking for from the night’s winners.

“The judges will be looking for a company who have developed a strong business presence with proof of certain accomplishments such as strong market share, economic turn around and an innovative approach. All of these elements are crucial to a successful business, and we are looking forward to seeing those who are nominated.

“Receiving recognition and congratulating our peers for their hard work and outstanding achievements is integral to the business community in Coventry. Not only will the awards throw a spotlight on the many and varied business achievements we see in Coventry and the surrounding areas but, are a great opportunity to forge new relationships and exchange ideas, they will also help bind together our local business community.”

Janine highlighted the reasons why they decided to come on board as a category sponsor. “Many of our clients own or run manufacturing businesses so the ‘Excellence in Industry Award’ felt a natural choice. Competition is going to be stiff as the area has more than its fair share of excellent businesses that show innovation, flair and imagination. It is companies like these that light the path for so many others, showing us all what is possible, and it is only right that they enjoy all the recognition they can get.”

The awards take place on Thursday 19 September at the Ricoh Arena, with companies of all sizes and from across a number of sectors set to be acknowledged.
